The Knights
The Knights tapestry is one of a series called The Quest of the Holy Grail designed in the 1890's by Morris & Co, inspired by Malory's famous poem Morte d'Arthur. The tapestry series was designed by Sir Edward Burne-Jones, William Morris and John Henry Dearle between 1892 and 1895. This tapestry is a detail from The Departure of the Knights (also available now), the second in the series. This Morris & Co wall tapestry is woven in France by Jules Pansu in a top quality 95% cotton weave and is lined and with a rod pocket. We enclose information about how to hang a tapestry with your order. Please note that the largest size is non-returnable as it is special ordered.
The Knights tapestry is one half of the full tapestry The Departure of the Knights. You can also select the other half, The Ladies of Camelot, which forms a fine matching pair of tapestries.
