The Summer Tapestry wall-hanging is a detail of a bright shining sun from The Apocalypse Tapestries commissioned by Louis I of Anjou in 1373. Woven by Nicolas Bataille they showed the Biblical end times of the Book of Revelation. They are magnificently displayed in a long hall adjoining the Chateau of Angers.
This tapestry wall-hanging is now woven in France by Jules Pansu in 95% cotton and is lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging. We supply information about how to hang a tapestry with every order.
