Maid and the Unicorn

The Maid and the Unicorn tapestry is a detail from the centre of the wonderful A Mon Seul Desir tapestry now at the Cluny Museum in Paris. It is one of a pair of matching Lady with the Unicorn tapestries in a fine French wool and cotton tapestry weave; the other being the Lady and her Dog. Both are lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging.
