The Banquet

The Banquet tapestry shows the engagement banquet of Louis XII of France and Anne of Brittany at the Castle of Nantes on 7th January 1499. The original tapestry was woven in Tournoi in about 1510. Our French woven tapestry is lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging. It is available with or without a border.

Please note that the above image shows a larger size which is now discontinued. The smaller size has a slightly lighter colour for the central tapestry although the border is unchanged.
