Mont St Michel
Mont St Michel tapestry scene from the 11th century Bayeux Tapestry - it is woven in Belgium in a thick, yet tight, high quality weave. This scene is woven in a 72% cotton, 19% trevira and 9% wool weave which gives full depth with good detailing. It shows Norman troops of William, the Duke of Normandy, near Mont St Michel. It is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging - we enclose tapestry hanging information with each order. Please note that this version has a slightly darker background - see bottom photo.

After receiving her Mont St Michel Bayeux tapestry hanging over the black stone fireplace, Leah in Oklahoma wrote "My phone wouldn’t let me get to the Google review page to leave a review, but I’d leave ten stars if I could!!! This is so beautiful and the quality is excellent!! Thank you for keeping me informed during the whole weaving and shipping time. Your service is outstanding.".
Today's reproductions of The Bayeux Tapestry are woven by several French and Belgian companies. Those listed below match the above tapestry having the same yarns and colour tones. This list is useful when hanging matching Bayeux tapestries together.
