Lion tapestry

The Lion tapestry features a detail from the La Dame a la Licorne series of tapestries from the 15th century now at the Cluny Museum in Paris. The lion was a popular beast in medieval art and was used to symbolise aspirational virtues. This tall detail is woven by a long-established French tapestry weaver and it is lined, having a rod pocket. We supply instructions for the care and hanging of tapestries with each order.
