Ladies by the Lake is an Italian tapestry wallhanging is woven in the Lake Como region, centre of the best silk and textile weaving. It is set in the late 18th century and features gardens of the Villa d'Este at Cernobbio originally built in 1568 as a summer residence for a cardinal. These include Renaissance arches, a temple, ruins, statues and fountains. This tapestry is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging - we provide hanging information with every order.
