This Italian tapestry is woven in the Lake Como region, centre of the best silk and textile weaving. It is set in the late 18th century and features the Villa d'Este gardens at Cernobbio originally built in 1568 as a summer residence for a cardinal. These include Renaissance arches, a temple, ruins, statues and fountains. This Italian wall tapestry is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging.
