The Papaver Somniferum tapestry showing poppies is from a series of botanical wall tapestries. This French tapestry is inspired by the botanical paintings of Pierre-Joseph Redoute (1759-1840) who produced over 2,000 detailed reproductions of flowers. This poppy tapestry has a pale cream background. It is lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging - we provide tapestry hanging information with each order. It matches the Rosa Gallica tapestry so they make a striking pair of tapestries.
