Oasis tapestry

The Oasis tapestry is a finely woven wallhanging featuring a winding stream under a palm tree with lush vegetation including palm trees, ripened fruit, flowers and plants. In the foreground there are two ducks swimming in the stream. The surrounding ornate border adds to the appeal of this piece.It is from the 17th century Tentures des Indes tapestries series.

This French wool and cotton tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for ease of hanging - we supply instructions for this with each order.
