Lauragais French Countryside

This beautiful Lauragais French Countryside tapestry is a woven jacquard tapestry created by the Jules Pansu company established 1878 in France.  It depicts a French countryside landscape which celebrates the timeless appeal of simplicity, natural beauty and a connection to the land.  In the foreground you will see a fisherman on the edge of the water patiently waiting for a fish to bite. The serene lush countryside forest seems to give the viewer a peek at a French farmhouse further in the distance.  This stunning tapestry is available in two sizes - 37"x55" and 51"x73" and is woven in 77% wool, 20% cotton and 3% viscose.
