The Hunters Rest tapestry -La Halte

The Hunters Rest tapestry, originally called La Halte des Chasseurs tapestry, was woven in the mid-18th Century in Aubusson. Today it is reproduced as a fine quality French tapestry wall-hanging showing this hunting party, including their ladies, taking a break in the country outside a small town.

The small size is woven in 54% wool, 26% cotton, 13% viscose and 6% polyester. The medium size is woven in 64% wool, 26% cotton, 12% viscose and 5% polyester. The small size is woven in 64% wool, 24% cotton, 10% viscose and 2% polyester. All are woven in France and are fully lined with a rod pocket - we supply hanging information with each order.
