The Royal Palace

The Royal Palace tapestry is one of our most popular French wall tapestries. It shows one of twelve royal chateaux tapestries designs by Charles le Brun during the late 17th century. It was originally woven for Louis XIV at the Royal Gobelins tapestry workshops in Paris. It is sometimes called Verdure au Chateau. It is now woven in fine wool and cotton by a French weaver to a high standard with richness and fine detail. It is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging - we enclose tapestry hanging information with each order. Note: The largest size is non-returnable.
