The Hearing tapestry is the highest quality version available of this masterpiece from the Lady with the Unicorn tapestries series in the Cluny Museum. We see the lady playing an organ on an oriental rug while her maid operates the hand bellows. They are flanked by the lion and unicorn each holding a banner. The small size includes 62% wool and 21% cotton in a tighter weave (seen above), the medium size includes 69% wool and 17% cotton and the large size includes 68% wool and 21% cotton in a looser weave.
This medieval tapestry wall-hanging is woven in France today by Jules Pansu and is fully lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging.
