Flamingos on the River Lignon

Flamingos on the River Lignon tapestry is a superb French tapestry, woven by Jules Pansu in 77% wool and 20% cotton which we admire greatly for its quality and enjoy for its relaxing scene. In the 18th century Aubusson tapestry style it shows a pair of flamingos at a stream in the Ardèche region of southern France with woodlands and a chateau in the background. (The upper image below has slightly too much green hue.) The tapestry is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging - with every order we supply instructions about hanging tapestries.
