Monnoyer's Elephant - Only 1 left!

The Monnoyer Elephant tapestry was designed by Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer (1636-99) and originally woven at Beauvais about 1700. During his life he worked for Charles le Brun and produced tapestry cartoons for both the Beauvais and Gobelins workshops. This wall tapestry is woven in 95% cotton by Jules Pansu, a long-established French weaver. However it is no longer available from the weaver. It is lined and has a rod pocket for easy hanging.
