Medium William Morris portiere tapestry -Maroon

The Medium William Morris portiere tapestry wall-hanging is adapted from a timeless Arts and Crafts Movement design. It is available in three sizes, with each size in two colour tones; the other being in green and yellow. The sizes result in a different niumber of elements in each tapestry, most noticeable in the swirling acanthus leaves. One is smaller than this, one is larger.

All these tapestries are woven in France today by a long established weaver in their top quality weave, with the wool giving full depth and the cotton providing fine detailing. These portiere hangings are fully lined and have a rod pocket for easy hanging. We provide instructions for this with every order.
