The Architectural Bouquet tapestry is a classically inspired 17th century tapestry wall hanging woven in France in a high quality wool and cotton weave. These tapestries were often designed by leading artists and woven in various centers across Europe.  During the Baroque period (between 1570 and 1720) European courts invested heavily in tapestries made from precious materials.  The Architectural Bouquet tapestry is a prime example of this genre. It features 17th century Baroque Arches framing a grand bouquet of flowers. The scene is set within Baroque architecture and showcases intricate detailing and style.
