History of the King tapestry

The History of the King tapestry was created by Charles Le Brun in the Histoire du Roi tapestries series, aided by the Flemish painter der Meuleun, between 1665 and 1680. It depicts soldiers of Louis XIV with the king on horseback.

This high quality French tapestry is woven by Jules Pansu in three sizes in a fine 95% cotton weave. It is lined and has a rod pocket for ease of hanging - we supply instructions for this with each order.

Please note that the largest two sizes are non-returnable as they are special ordered.
