Black Cat poster

The Black Cat tapestry reproduces the cabaret poster by Theorphile Steinlen of 1896 advertising Le Chat Noir cabaret. The Black Cat was opened in Montmartre by Rodolphe Salis in November 1881. This French wall tapestry is the advertisement for a planned tour by the cabaret's artists. The tapestry is lined and has a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging.
