The Just Judges

The Just Judges tapestry is one panel from The Ghent Altarpiece - three are available woven as French tapestry wallhangings - this lower panel flanks the central Adoration of the Mystic Lamb, and The Knights of Christ. It was probably painted by Jan van Eyck in about 1430. The Ghent Altarpiece has been stolen several times and The Just Judges panel is still missing so this has been replaced by a reproduction. So this is a reproduction of a reproduction!

The Just Judges tapestry is available in two sizes - only the larger has the fine antique gold border. It is woven in France and is lined, with a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging.
