Lebensbaum tapestry by Gustav Klimt. Also known as The Tree of Life, this tapestry reproduces an oil painting created for the 1902 Vienna Secessionist Exhibition as part of the Beethoven Frieze, also called the Stoclet Frieze.

This is among the most dramatic of the Gustav Klimt wall tapestries. It is stunningly woven in Belgium in soft wool and acrylic with some fine detailing using 3% golden lurex. The picture does not do it justice. It is lined with a rod pocket for easy hanging - we enclose tapestry hanging information with each order.
