Grapes Harvest

The Grapes Harvest tapestry - this large fine tapestry is one half of the 15th century Vintage tapestry at the Cluny Museum in Paris. This portion shows the lord and lady inspecting the grape harvest, surrounded by a typical mille fleurs background. With the other half, Pressing the Grapes, you can have a dramatic pair of matching tapestries.

This tapestry is woven in France in a fine 50% wool and 50% cotton weave which rewsults in a full, rich weave yet with fine detailing too. It is fully lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging.
