Gold Lady portiere

The Gold Lady portiere tapestry is inspired by murals at the palace of the Princess de Polignac in the Directoire style. It matches the Blue Lady Portiere, making a matching pair of elegant tapestries. A portiere is a tall slim wallhanging historically hung on either side of a palatial door. Woven in France in 80% cotton and 20% viscose, it is lined and has a rod pocket for easy hanging. We supply instructions for the care and hanging of tapestries with each order.
