Strawberry Thief
The Strawberry Thief textile pattern was first printed by Morris & Co in 1883. It was one of the most successful William Morris designs and is now available as a French wall tapestry woven in 80% cotton and 20% viscose. This Arts and Crafts tapestry is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging - we provide tapestry hanging information with each order.
Please note that the above image shows the larger size which is now discontinued. The smaller size has a slightly lighter colour.
William Morris wall tapestries
Although it was not originally designed in the William Morris wall tapestries collection this design has been successfully adapted by a long-established French tapestry weaver.
Sharon in Fort Lee, NJ wrote this Google tapestries review: "First of all, their tapestries are beautiful, in fact after our first order we ordered 2 more and just the other day ordered table runners. Besides their lovely merchandise, their customer service is outstanding, whether it is to answer any questions or just to inform you that your tapestry is on its way. I highly recommend The Tapestry House."
