Verdure Cascade

Verdure Cascade tapestry was originally woven in Lille in the early 18th century, a classic French verdure tapestry featuring a landscape scene with floral details. In the foreground we see part of a small river with flowers and foliage. In the background there's a distant French town lost in the haze. These elements, combined with the tree in the middle ground, create a sense of depth.
