The Promenade - Only 1 left!
The Promenade tapestry is from a series of six late 15th century tapestries called 'La tenture de la Vie Seigneuriale' in the Cluny Museum, Paris. It has a dark blue background on which are placed the mille fleurs flowers and plants known for their real and symbolic qualities. This is definitely one of our favourite tapestries - we saw the original tapestry in France and were so impressed by the way the Belgian weavers have reproduced here the gently antiqued effect on this stunning mille-fleurs tapestry - see a post about it on our tapestry blog. It is woven in Belgium in 89% cotton and 11% polyester.

Like all our medieval wall tapestries this is lined, with a rod pocket for easy hanging - we supply instructions for this with each order.
