Klimt's Armed Knight

The Armed Knight (Cavaliere Armato) is a beautiful work from Gustav Klimt.  He originally painted it on the left wall of The Beethoven Frieze in Austria.  This frieze is based on composer, Richard Wagner's, interpretation of Beethoven's 9th symphony.  Beginning on the left wall of the frieze, the three panels layout a cohesive narrative of man's quest for happiness. This beautiful tapestry is woven in Italy.
