Marche au Vin tapestry wallhanging

The Marché au Vin tapestry wallhanging is a natural accompaniment to The Vintage tapestry. Both hang at the Cluny Museum in Paris, showing aspects of the medieval vendange, the grapes harvest. The Marché au Vin tapestry shows the wine market taking place outside the walls of the town, full of life at this important time of year for the whole community. Today these are woven in France in 80% cotton and 20% viscose. They are lined with a rod pocket (we supply wall-hanging information with each order). Both tapestries are available in two sizes. Please note that the smaller size has slightly softer colouring, although the border is the same.
