William Morris portiere -Large - Green

The William Morris portiere is adapted from a timeless design by this great Arts and Crafts designer. It is available in three sizes and also in two colour tones; there are maroon and brown versions in each size too. The sizes result in a different niumber of elements in each tapestry, most noticeable in the swirling acanthus leaves. An image with better colouring is on the medium size of this tapestry.

All these tapestries are woven in France today by a long established weaver in their top quality weave, with the wool giving full depth and the cotton fine detailing. These portiere hangings are fully lined and have a rod pocket for easy wall-hanging. We provide instructions for hanging a tapestry with every order.
