Silk was used in many old French tapestries but today's weavers have instead chosen viscose to create a sheen on their tapestries. However this French weaver has recently produced a very small number of very fine tapestries including silk in the yarn composition. So you can enjoy a superb balance of fine detailing with a gentle sheen combined with the fullness that some wool provides.
