Annunciation

This tapestry is a reproduction of the Annunciation found at the convent of San Marco in Florence. Painted by Fra. Angelico (a Dominican friar and artist of some repute from the early Renaissance; 1400 - 1455), it is one of the earliest examples of the use of linear perspective in art and helps give the piece a real sense of presence. This tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for ease of hanging.
