This medieval tapestry is one of a series of seven depicting court life in the middle ages. It has a Mille Fleur background and features a medieval queen and her ladies in waiting. Mille Fleur literally means one thousand flowers and it became very popular as a background motif in the applied arts and crafts during the Middle Ages in Europe.
