Classical rose

This tapestry depicts a flower arrangement set in a small stone alcove. Sitting in a decorative stone vase the bouquet's collection of pink, white and lavender roses are rendered in soft light helping compliment the pale stone of the backdrop. The vertical alternate dark and light strips in the background add real depth to the piece, as do the deep shadows caused by the artists use of directional light. This tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for ease of hanging.
