Garden archway

This tapestry is one of a collection of wall-hangings by Beijing artist Vail Oxley. Known for his tranquil garden scenes and settings, Oxley draws his inspiration from the spectacular scenery of Beijing. This piece depicts an idyllic stone archway with a cobbled path leading to garden filled with greenery. Like much of his work it captures a moment in time, and shows a willingness to use color and light that creates a lasting impression. This tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for ease of hanging.
