Nova totius terrarum

This tapestry is a reproduction of a 17th century map by Dutch cartographer Henricus Hondius (1597 - 1651). Its full title, Nova totivs terrarvm orbis geographica ac hydrographica tabvla, means "A new complete map of the geography of the earth and oceans", and reflects an impressive knowledge of world geography for its day. The tapestry is lined and has tunnel for ease of hanging.
