This piece is based on a Baroque period tapestry from the workshop of the Flemish artist Jacob Wauters. Originally designed around 1630 it depicts two full flower vases beneath a trellis with more flowers and interweaving vines. Surrounding the piece are a series of Corinthian columns and behind a detailed landscape. The colors and hues of the piece are typical of the Baroque and lend the tapestry authenticity and depth. This tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for ease of hanging.
