Mandolin tapestry

The Mandolin tapestry was woven at Beauvais, one of the great centres of French tapestry weaving, in the 19th century. Its rich classical appearance is warm and softly pleasing (my wife and I have had the middle of the three sizes of this wall tapestry hanging in our sitting room for many years. It is lined and has a rod pocket for easy hanging.
