The Jay

The Jay is a finely detailed tapestry inspired by an inlaid panel dating from the 18th century that belonged to the vast art collection of King George IV (1762 - 1830). The piece depicts a small basket with a medley of flowers, topped by a small bird stealing fruit. Beneath the main image lies a basket of fruit, and the entire piece is framed with a Fleur de Lise inspired border adding to the lavish feel. The tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for ease of hanging.
