The Exotic Birds tapestry is a very fine French cotton tapestry. We can see two female parrots perched upon the branch, while the more striking male looks on in curiosity. This wonderful wall tapestry is framed by a highly decorative border. In the background are a group of flamingos. The palest of blue skies blends into the pale, iridescent, glow of the still water. It is based on artwork by wallpaper designer Julien Deltil with a scene from one of the first panoramic printed wallpapers. This is a very finely woven tapestry and it is lined with a tunnel for ease of hanging.
