This tapestry depicts a typical medieval scene of sheep shearers in spring harvesting the wool from the sheep. In the foreground we see the peasant’s dog resting at his owner’s feet. The original tapestry was woven of silk around 1470 in Tournai. It is currently on display at the Royal Museum of Art and History in Brussels. This tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for ease of hanging.
