Secure online ordering

If you decide to purchase from our store you will be prompted to provide information to complete a transaction. This includes address, telephone number, email address and credit card information. There are two ways in which we protect this information:

• Encryption
  This site uses strong encryption to ensure your information is protected when you send it to us across the internet. Using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and 128bit encryption means that your information is, in any practical sense, uncrackable when in transit (see below for details).
  
• No storage
  Once a transaction is complete we do not store your credit card information. This means each time you visit the site and buy a product you will be prompted to key in your card details again. However this means you don't have to worry about whether your details are safe with us, they are deleted on completion of the transaction.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a protocol developed to transmit private documents via the Internet. It works by using a private key to encrypt data that's transferred over the SSL connection. Many modern browsers, such as Internet Explorer, support SSL and many web sites use the protocol to obtain confidential user information, such as credit card numbers. Typically URL's that require an SSL connection start with https: instead of http.
