The Tapestry House are committed to protecting your privacy during your visit to this website and recognize our responsibility to keep the information you provide to us secure and confidential at all times. The Tapestry House also never release information to third parties, under any circumstances.
There are 4 ways in which we may take information whilst you use our site:
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer and are used to track information as you move around the site. A typical use of cookies is to make a note of the items you have selected from our product pages. This allows you to come back at a later time and still see the items in your shopping cart.
Cookies themselves are harmless, cannot contain malicious code such as viruses, and are used primarily for taking note of relatively anonymous data that helps us provide a smoother experience for our customers. In addition you can easily delete cookies yourself at any time. Please refer to your browsers help section for more information.
If you decide to purchase from our store you will be prompted to provide information to complete a transaction. This includes address, telephone number, email address and credit card information. This information is encrypted using the strongest algorithms available, and in addition we do not store this information.

We have these forms on our site mainly for convenience. If you are unable to use your own email program to get in touch, for example if you are not using your own computer, you can use the contact form. We store this information and may occasionally get in touch with offers or changes to the site that you may be interested in. On each form there is a tick box allowing you to opt out of this. This is something we take very seriously and you can be assured we will only store contact information after seeking prior permission.
Similarly the feedback form allows
you to pass comments to us about the site or any other aspect of our business.
This collects very basic information, such as your name and email address.
We do not retain this information and will not contact you
as a result of sending feedback. In addition you can send feedback information
anonymously by leaving your name and email details blank, preventing us from
even collecting the information in the first place.
Please note: We dislike spam as much as you do and will only ever contact customers after seeking prior permission to do so.
Similar to the contact forms, the Tell a Friend function is a great way to let others know about the Tapestry House. It is very straightforward to use and you are only prompted for some basic information: your details and your friends details. This information is then deleted once the email has been sent to your friend. In order to keep this as transparent as possible a copy of the email inviting your friend to have a look at the site is sent to you as well. Once sent all the details are deleted. At no point will we ever contact you, or your friend, using the details provided.
